Davido, Funke Akindele, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage top Instagram rich list, make first 50 list of richest celebrities in the world

Music superstar Davido has been listed as the richest Nigerian on Instagram.

According to Instagram Rich List 2019 by Hopper HQ 2019, Davido occupies the second position in Africa and stands at the 38th positions on global rating.

Egyptian and Liverpool footballer Mohamed Salah beats the Nigerian singer to the first position as he is declared the richest African celebrity on Instagram and 26th on the global rating.

Born David Adeleke to a billionaire father, the Fia Fia singer's single post is valued at over N26 million. He is one of the most active Nigerian celebs on the photo sharing app. Davido popularly called OBO makes use of the social media platform to share information about his career and personal life.

The Assurance singer has 11.8 million followers on Instagram as at Thursday, July 25, 2019, with each of his posts valued at $74,000, approximately N26 million.

Other Nigerian celebrities who made the Instagram rich list are Funke Akindele who beats Wizkid and Tiwa Savage in the global rating.

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele Bello is the 45th celebrity globally with over eight million followers and gets $50,500 which is over N19 million.

Wizkid gets $49,700 (N18 million) coming directly behind the Jenifa actress to stand at 46th position on the global rating. He has over seven million followers.

African Rihanna, Tiwa Savage, on the 48th position on the list with over 7.5 million followers, earning $47,200 which is N17 million when converted to Nigerian money.

Topping the chart of Instagram rich list is Forbes youngest self-made billionaire Kylie Jenner. She has 140 million followers and gets $1,266,000 (N455,760,000) per post.

Ariana Grande, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kim Kardashian occupy the second, third and fourth position globally.
